Returns Policy

CZ Press Returns Policy
 
The buyer may not withdraw from the contract of sale for the delivery of newspapers, periodicals or magazines and in other cases referred to in Section 1837 of the Czech Civil Code.
 
1. General Conditions for Claims
1.1. Claims can be submitted for purchased magazines, newspapers, or books that are defective (e.g., damaged covers, missing pages, printing errors) or do not match the order.
1.2. Claims must be made promptly after discovering the defect, but no later than 2 days after receiving the goods.
1.3. Claims cannot be submitted for defects caused by improper use, storage, or normal wear and tear. For newspapers and magazines, claims are rare and usually concern issues with delivery or printing.
 
 
2. Filing a Claim
2.1. Claims must be submitted in writing to eshop@czpress.cz. Include the order number, a description of the defect, the requested resolution (e.g., replacement, refund), and, if applicable, photos of the defect.
2.2. Defective goods must be sent to the CZ Press address, as agreed upon in advance. The customer is responsible for covering the shipping costs for the initial return.
2.3. If the claim is found to be justified, CZ Press will cover the costs of shipping repaired or replacement goods back to the customer.
 
 

3. Resending Shipments
3.1 If the return is due to a customer error (e.g., incorrect address, failure to indicate an alternate issue number in the order note, or not collecting the shipment), the cost of resending will be charged to the customer.
3.2 If the return is due to an error on the part of CZ Press (e.g., incorrect or incomplete items sent), the costs of resending will be covered by CZ Press.

Example:
If the customer provides an incorrect address and the shipment is returned, reshipping costs will be charged to the customer. However, if the wrong item was sent by CZ Press, the corrected order will be resent at no cost to the customer.

 
4. Exceptions and Notices
4.1 Claims for magazines and newspapers are typically limited to cases of missing pages, damage during delivery, or the wrong issue being sent.
4.2 Images on the e-shop may be for illustrative purposes only. When ordering magazines, refer to the issue number specified in the product title. If a customer requires a specific issue or edition, they must state this in the order note.
