Svět knihy 2023 fair! 10/05/2023

CZ Press will be part of the Svět knihy 2023 fair!

Look for us at stand KC008, where we will have magazines in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian and the latest international newspapers ready for you. We will also offer foreign books.

We are preparing various discounts for you (e.g. 10% discount on the subscription of your choice) and especially a COMPETITION for a year's subscription - the conditions of the competition will be communicated to you.

Do you speak English? 08/03/2023

We have great news for all expats living in the Czech Republic.

Since February you have the opportunity to switch our e-shop to English. Just click on the " Čeština " icon in the upper right corner of the screen and choose " English ".
We hope that we have made it easier for you to navigate through our range of newspapers, magazines and books. (Sorry it took so long...)

Translations into other languages are not yet planned.

Helping nature with a single click 26/01/2023

As a distributor of printed periodicals, we try to think about our responsibility towards nature. That's why we have joined the project "Planting the Czech Republic" and from 27 January you can add a donation to your order in our e-shop for planting a tree worth only 69 CZK. The entire value of the donation is then used to plant the tree.

How does it work?

Immediately after completing your order, you will receive an email from Sázíme Česko with a personalised certificate with your name on it. Once the tree has been planted, you will receive a second email with the exact location of the tree, photos and a report of the planting (so you can also visit your tree). Your Personal Information is safe with Sázíme Česko and it will only be used to send you two transactional emails (order confirmation and tree planting confirmation).

Plant a tree with us! It will make the world a better place for the next 100 years even for our children. Come with us to create a path to a better future.

Postage price change - magazines 16/01/2023

Dear customers,

We would like to inform you about the changes in shipping fees effective from 1.2.2023.

Due to the increase of the Czech Post's rates, the ongoing high fuel prices and the increase in the cost of packaging material, we are forced to transfer part of the shipping costs to the addressee.

Every order sent from our e-shop is forwarded to the Czech Post as a registered mail with priority delivery D+1, and this will continue to be the case.

The announced change will be the new postage fee of 39 CZK per shipment. Exceptions will be orders over 1000 CZK and subscriptions to selected titles, where you will continue to benefit from free postage from us.

We offer two forms of subscription:

Monthly: for an indefinite period or for a selected period only. You will receive an invoice at the beginning of the month for copies shipped in the previous month (so you pay retroactively). This subscription can be modified or terminated at any time. If a title becomes more expensive during the subscription period, it will be reflected in the invoice.

Annual/semi-annual: in this case, you do not have to worry about anything for the whole time and there are no price adjustments if the subscribed title becomes more expensive. This subscription is not automatically renewed.

Another way to purchase the magazine without postage is to visit one of our partner stores, a list of which can be found on our website, in the bottom section called "Where to find us".

Termination of cooperation with the Tesco chain 13/01/2023

Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you about the cancellation of foreign press deliveries to Tesco stores due to the decision of the management of their company to stop selling foreign language press after many years of cooperation.

You can still buy our range of products in our partner stores, a list of which can be found on our website here.

You can also order your magazines and newspaper via our e-shop directly to your home. We offer a wide range of print in many genres and in several languages.
